Outreach

I am a passionate science communicator and love discussing complex ideas in science, mathematics, and astrophysics with audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and interest levels. I believe that very few scientific concepts are out of reach by non-experts, so long as they are presented with clarity and accurate comparison to day-to-day examples, and avoid overly technical language. I also strive to entertain, and to highlight aspects of research which I think are interesting to wider audiences, while presenting the science honestly and accurately.

I have experience assisting on larger group outreach expeditions to more passive audiences, often with the OzGrav Education and Public Outreach teams, as well as with giving solo presentations to larger groups including Q&A. If you know of an upcoming activity and would like to discuss speaking opportunities, please reach out!
